Issey Miyake Parfums launches L'Eau d'Issey pour Homme Eau de Parfum in 2025, created by perfumer Sophie Labbé. The composition explores the nuances of the ocean, with Sichuan pepper in the top notes, balsam fir at the heart, and cedarwood in the base. The creative partnership with Alexis Rosenfeld, founder of the 1Ocean project, accompanies this launch.
The line's conical bottle, with a silvered wood cap carved from a single piece, refillable; 75 and 125 ml, 150 ml refill.
L'Eau d'Issey pour Homme Eau de Parfum takes up the line's emblematic bottle, topped with a silvered wood cap inspired, according to the house, by the metallic reflections of the ocean. Each cap is carved from a single piece of wood, without plastic; the house puts the reduction in greenhouse gas emissions at 55% compared with the historic cap of the 125 ml.
The bottle becomes refillable for the first time in the line: the pump is unscrewed, the refill is screwed onto the neck, and filling stops on its own once the bottle is full. The glass contains 20% recycled glass.
The perfume comes in 75 and 125 ml, with a 150 ml refill. The box comes from sustainably managed forests, the house states.
