April 2024. L’Artisan Parfumeur adds a woody scent to La Collection, the one that brings together Mûre et Musc and Histoire d’Orangers, and gives it the title of a tale.

A walk in the forest

The story is simple and the house sticks to it: you enter the wood, you walk on, and the perfume opens the faces of wood one after another. The forest serves as both setting and subject.

Buckwheat is the claimed find. A cereal rather than a perfumery material, it brings a toasted warmth that the house calls gourmand, against the rooty freshness of vetiver.

Caroline Dumur

The house attributes the juice to Caroline Dumur and tells of a childhood with parents who were editors, spent among the biographies of perfumers. No other attribution circulates.

The perfumer works for the house in a collection where contemporary creations sit beside the classics of the nineteen seventies.

What the house sells

The house sells it in 100 ml and in a 15 ml travel size. The bottle can be engraved at the house, and European retailers show it at around €190 to €205.
