Where to buy

L’Artisan Parfumeur launches L’Amant at the start of 2026. The Parisian house, founded in 1976 by Jean Laporte and since acquired by the Puig group, entrusts a creation for the first time to Nathalie Lorson, a perfumer at dsm-firmenich.

A nocturnal narrative

The launch narrative holds in a single scene: a night where passion moves through glances and gestures, the air turning spicy, two bodies seeking each other. The house speaks of a silent confession, a conflict between restraint and abandon.

A narrow palette

Nathalie Lorson built the composition on a reduced number of materials, with ink at the center. The fragrance falls among modern spicy compositions, with two lead accords that the house itself names: ink and fire.

The Parisian launch

The house presented the fragrance in Paris, at the Low Key lounge bar, before guests and people close to the brand. The bottle was shown there in its red velvet case.

Olfastory’s review

Pascal Iakovou, for Luxsure, reads a construction built on constraints: few materials, and their friction as subject.
