Caroline Dumur

Caroline Dumur, a perfumer who preserves her secret garden. Perfumery is a fairly confidential and very closed world. Indeed, being a nose is not a very widespread profession and only a few prodigies manage to distinguish themselves enough to reach that status. As a result, the few greatest perfumers on the planet who work on the best-selling scents are true stars in their field. In this world, however, certain personalities manage to preserve their secret garden. Caroline Dumur belongs to this category. She reveals very little of herself and far prefers to let her creations speak rather than dwell on her personal life and career path. Full of poetry and delicacy, she already has, despite her young age, a few perfumery blockbusters to her credit.

Caroline Dumur, perfumer at IFF

Caroline Dumur works within a globally renowned group: International Flavors and Fragrances, better known as IFF. This international company, which manufactures fragrances both for the perfume industry and for the food industry, ranks third in its sector by revenue, just behind Givaudan. Being part of this company's workforce opens many doors for Caroline Dumur and allows her to work for the biggest names on the planet. Moreover, IFF is currently still in a phase of major development, following the acquisition of its competitor Frutarom a year ago, a large deal that promises to open even more doors for it.

Caroline Dumur's greatest perfumes

Even though Caroline Dumur is a young perfumer still at the dawn of her career, she has already had the chance, through International Flavors and Fragrances, to create fragrances for globally renowned luxury houses. In 2016, Caroline Dumur signed the composition So Sweet by Lolita Lempicka, a fragrance full of softness and gourmand character. Then, more recently, we owe her the sultry Pure XS, and its variation Pure XS Night, by Paco Rabanne. With such successes to her credit, Caroline Dumur seems to be opening a path strewn with stars!
