Let us begin at the start of the story, by presenting the iconic bottle of the first version of La Vie Est Belle. Indeed, that of La Vie Est Belle Intensément has a noticeably similar silhouette. So know that this bottle did not make its appearance in 2012. The La Vie Est Belle bottle was created much earlier, in 1949. It was designed when Armand Petitjean, CEO of Lancôme, asked his artistic director, George Delhomme, to imagine a bottle symbolizing the aura of women, and possessing that certain something that gives them so much radiance. He imagined a glass case whose base forms a broad smile. Yet, although named at the time the crystal smile, this case was forgotten and placed in a cupboard. It was only while searching through Lancôme's archives that it was rediscovered, in 2012. Slightly revisited in a more contemporary aesthetic, it then reappeared as if by magic.
The new fuchsia shade of La Vie Est Belle Intensément
While La Vie Est Belle Intensément has exactly the same shape as before, it is adorned with a new, much more intense fuchsia color. Thus, it seems to unfold before our eyes a fiery energy, more vibrant and untamable. This color is present in its fragrance as well as on its neck. Indeed, to enhance the top of this bottle, a small organza ribbon has been attached to its neck, adorned with a few silver sequins, perfectly matched to its chrome sprayer. Its base, forming the famous smile, remains perfectly transparent, as does its small cap, shaped like a cube, allowing a glimpse of its sprayer. All of this is presented in a classic cardboard box. Rectangular in shape, it is also decorated with fuchsia sides, while its front face remains more understated, in white.
