Kouros by Yves Saint-Laurent, a very powerful fragrance
Kouros by Yves Saint-Laurent is far removed from fresh, energetic essences lacking body and soul. It is extremely powerful! Composed by Pierre Bourdon, it launches on a surprising metallic opening. It notably contains orange and galbanum. However, to never lack elegance, it also incorporates flowers, something rather surprising in masculine perfumery and worth noting. It brings together lavender, rose and jasmine. Growing gradually more aromatic, it moves toward an accord of mugwort and cistus, lifted at the same time by a spicy touch of cinnamon, coriander and pepper. After raising the tension a notch, it closes on a very masculine woody base, relying on sandalwood, vetiver, patchouli and oakmoss. Kouros is an atypical fragrance, containing ingredients rarely assembled all together. This fragrance gives off a thoroughly captivating animalic touch!
