Olfastory’s review
Kenzo World Intense, much more than a simple bouquet, a floral explosion!
Kenzo World Intense is a powerful essence built essentially around a floral heart. While the first edition of Kenzo World was rather amber, Kenzo World Intense proves sweeter and more gourmand, which only makes it more irresistible. After all, how can one resist a treat guaranteed zero calories? Kenzo World Intense contains for this an infinitely sensual black plum. A fragrance designed for a free and fulfilled woman, it gradually becomes more voluptuous. Its bouquet is composed essentially of peony and jasmine, for an opulent and enveloping effect. Finally, Kenzo World Intense closes with a carnal breath of vanilla. Kenzo World Intense fully rides the trends of sweet fragrances, while adding the elegance of flowers to it. The result is an addictive recipe, as sensual as it is irresistible.
The new bottle of Kenzo World Intense
On the bottle side, Kenzo World Intense reuses the emblematic shape of its predecessor... It could not be otherwise! Since it takes a new look at the world, it represents an eye, quite a symbol! At once hypnotic and mystical, it becomes more intense, mirroring the fragrance it contains. To achieve this, it is wrapped in a deep and elegant blue, replacing its previous sky blue color. Its cap, meanwhile, is made of black, ridged rubber, like so many lashes drawing the doe-eyed gaze of a bewitching woman. A gold pearl is fixed at its neck and forms the pupil of this eye. On the packaging side, its cardboard box is dressed in a new teal blue, perfectly matched to its bottle.
An unchanged advertisement, but still just as effective
Finally, it is simply impossible to talk about this bottle without mentioning its advertisement. It remains the same as for Kenzo World. However, it must be acknowledged that it still makes quite an impression! For nearly four minutes (a record), Margaret Qualley engages in a disconcerting dance. Directed by Spike Jonze, this advertisement particularly made waves and ranks among the most watched television spots on the planet. This time, it is Kenzo World Intense's turn to put the young woman into a trance. Its bottle appears at the end of the advertisement, alongside its predecessor Kenzo World.
