Sky di Gioia

As Carlo Goldoni, the Italian playwright, put it, nature is a universal and sure teacher for those who observe it. Giorgio Armani is a renowned creator who likes to recharge at the heart of nature and who is, as such, regularly called upon by wide open spaces.

So, as if to pay tribute to his love for the sea and the other natural elements, he decided to create the fragrance Acqua Di Gio, followed a little later by Acqua Di Gioia. As a fitting continuation of this poetic lineage, the very latest Sky Di Gioia has just made its appearance within the house, like a more romantic perception than ever of the beauty of the elements.

Sky Di Gioia, a tribute to the Sicilian sky

The very first fragrance Acqua Di Gioia made its appearance in 2010, as if to create an emotion halfway between the land and the sea. Indeed, this juice is inspired by a distant island at the heart of which Giorgio Armani likes to recharge between two creations. There, rain and sea spray blend together to give rise to a peaceful place covered in fertile, lush nature. This place is none other than the island of Pantelleria, a small piece of land located in the middle of the Sicilian Channel, between this Italian island and Tunisia. This fragrance, intended for strong women in perfect harmony with their environment, was later followed by two other flankers. Air di Gioia appeared in spring 2016, presenting itself as an airier, lighter juice. An ideal companion for summer, it traded the sea spray of before for a more volatile scent. Similarly, it was accompanied by Sun di Gioia, a sun-kissed creation evoking, with a simple breath, the sweetness of a paradise island. So, as if to complete this palette of poetic colors, Giorgio Armani created Sky Di Gioia.

The romanticism of the very latest Giorgio Armani

Sky Di Gioia is a romantic fragrance whose absolute femininity is displayed from the very sight of its bottle. It stays true to the lines and curves of the entire Giorgio Armani collection. Resolutely inspired by the shapes of nature, it seems to have been shaped by the winds and sea currents, as if gradually polished over time. Its design resembles a drop of thick glass. Its transparency is similar to that of the surface of waves. Its roundness, in turn, echoes the feminine body. Nevertheless, the emerald green droplet that once served as the cap has now given way to a more intense pink. After all, what color is more in keeping with femininity than this one? While the full formula of Sky Di Gioia remains a mystery, we know that this fragrance revolves around two major ingredients. The first of these is peony. An exquisite, voluminous and rounded flower, it releases a floral, tender aroma accentuated by light green facets. Its scent is close to that of dew on lily of the valley. However, this is complemented by a touch that is more gourmand. Lychee, a small fruit growing on an exotic tree, adds here a fruity, exotic facet. The result is an absolutely irresistible, joyful and feminine fragrance.
