Bombshell

Bombshell, an Eau de Parfum for women launched by Victoria’s Secret in September 2010, brings together Brazilian purple passion fruit, Shangri-La peony and Madagascar vanilla orchid. The house adds an Italian pine, which it presents as the fragrance’s distinctive touch, and places it in the fruity floral family. Its faceted bottle wears a black collar with a gold VS monogram.

Victoria’s Secret presented Bombshell to the press in June 2010, in New York, and put it on sale in September 2010 as a 50 ml Eau de Parfum. The fragrance gives its name to an entire line from the house, extended to mists and scented body care.

The house now presents it as the best-selling fragrance in the United States, citing volume sales measured by Euromonitor in 2022. It describes it as confident and bold, and places it in the fruity floral family.

Bombshell has given rise to many variations, including Bombshell Seduction, Bombshell Passion, Bombshell Intense and, in 2026, Bombshell Desire, each with its own composition.

Three models for a launch

In June 2010, Alessandra Ambrosio, Miranda Kerr and Candice Swanepoel presented Bombshell in New York, ahead of its release during fashion week.

Victoria’s Secret entrusted the face of Bombshell to three of its models, Alessandra Ambrosio, Miranda Kerr and Candice Swanepoel. They presented the fragrance to the press in June 2010, at the St. Regis hotel in New York, several months before its release.

Alessandra Ambrosio described fruity, aromatic tones touched with vanilla. The release was set for September 9, 2010, in the middle of New York Fashion Week.
