Where to buy

Thanks to the talents of Olivier Polge, this was achieved in 2008 with Kenzo Power and its imaginary tulip. To depict this flower that has no scent, Polge created for Kenzo a highly sensual woody-floral fragrance that caresses masculine skin as well as the skin of the beloved woman... Poetry, charm and enchantment are naturally all present in this Kenzo Power!

Kenzo Power or the imaginary tulip of the Kenzo man

The Kenzo house has for several years now offered fragrances and images of happiness and pure poetry, whether through original and unique scents or through advertising campaigns that are funny, imaginative or magical. The high point of this poetry was certainly reached with the splendid Flower campaign and its flowers growing from concrete.

Considering that this handsome masculine Kenzo Power was the long-awaited successor to Flower, the design of the video advertisement was naturally highly anticipated. Patrick Guedj, who has directed Kenzo advertisements for almost several years now, thus signed the Kenzo Power film with his poetry-infused aesthetic. The face of the campaign for Kenzo Power, Andy Gillet, dreams and trembles before the beautiful white tulip he holds at his fingertips. The lovely silhouette moving like a flower in the wind in the background leads to a beautiful comparison between the softness of the beloved woman's skin and the soft touch of the tulip petal. Is woman a flower, or is the flower a woman, for the man of Kenzo Power?

Kenzo Power thus depicts the power of a flower. A wild tulip, nervous and poetic, sketched in black, according to Kenzo for Kenzo Power.

Kenzo Power or the abstract floralcy of spicy, woody and sensual notes

The Kenzo Power bottle, all curves and metallic transparency, is meant as the glass representation of a sake bottle designed by Kenya Hara for Ma suichi Ichimura. Mirror metal. Simple curves. Pure shape are the key words used by Kenzo for the Kenzo Power bottle.

The top notes of Kenzo Power display a highly original blend of tonic, tangy bergamot combined with boldness and flair to cardamom and coriander, offering an opening full of character. Then labdanum lends its animalic power to an abstract flower reminiscent of iris or rose, powdering the wild strength like a soft cloud. Finally, the amber strength of tolu balsam joins the woody strength of cedar to create a woody sillage of great sensuality.

An imaginary flower, woody amber. Created by Olivier Polge. An abstract floralcy, a sensation, Kenzo tells us about Kenzo Power. This tulip flower clearly becomes as soft as velvet but also as powerful as a wild beast, reminding us of the strengths and weaknesses of skin in search of its prey, its alter ego...
