It is precisely this tenderness that is found in most of her perfumes. The historic feminine fragrance Arpège from 1927 is undoubtedly one of the finest examples. This historic perfume ranks among the most famous fragrances on the planet. Today, it returns to the forefront and transforms into a new fragrance named Éclat d'Arpège Sheer.

A look back at the evolution of Arpège by Lanvin

In 1927, Jeanne Lanvin was celebrating her daughter Marie Blanche's 30th birthday. For the occasion, she decided to create a perfume for her. If it is named Arpège, it is simply because her daughter was a musician. Jeanne Lanvin gave this fragrance a feminine, elegant and refined breath. She said of it: I wanted to give women what music brings to life. Arpège quickly ranked among the best-selling fragrances in the world. Today, nearly 100 years after its creation, it remains one of the greatest legends of perfumery. In 2002, it was nevertheless reinvented to become Éclat d'Arpège, a livelier, more gourmand and luminous essence. Drawing inspiration from maternal love, Éclat d'Arpège Sheer reinterprets this collection with modernity. It becomes a new bubble of joy signed Lanvin.

The floral and fruity sweetness of Éclat d'Arpège Sheer

Éclat d'Arpège Sheer by Lanvin opens on a true burst of cheerfulness. As sparkling as could be, it relies on fruit to display extreme liveliness for all to see. It notably contains mandarin and dragon fruit, joined by an aquatic touch of lotus leaves. Its heart, meanwhile, is conceived like a generous bouquet, gathering peony, water jasmine and lily of the valley. Luminous and poetic, these flowers are quickly warmed by a woody and amber accord. Cedar lends the whole a comforting feel, further accentuated by a veil of white musks enveloping this composition.

The satin pink bottle of Éclat d'Arpège Sheer by Lanvin

Éclat d'Arpège Sheer comes in a pink and iridescent cardboard case. At its center, it displays a bubble. This is a symbol of lightness and serenity. It is a bubble of sweetness and happiness, secretly enclosing Lanvin's prestigious bottle. Aesthetically, the bottle of Éclat d'Arpège Sheer reprises the same visual as the previous Éclat d'Arpège. Its purple color, however, has completely disappeared, in favor of a new satin, shimmering pink that plays with light. The drawing of a mother and her daughter appears at its center, in white. Likewise, to symbolize unwavering love, two rings intertwine on its neck, while a diamond crowns this structure.
