Montblanc
Star Oud
Star Oud is the fifth eau de parfum in the Montblanc Collection, released in 2025 and signed by Gaël Montero. Montblanc presents it as a woody amber built on an oud accord: a fresh cardamom and mineral spices at the opening, a heart of guaiac wood, vetiver and sandalwood, a base where the oud appears alone.

The Montblanc Collection appeared in 2024 with four fragrances that each tell a facet of the German house, from the centenary of the Meisterstück pen to ink, leather and the mountain. Star Oud joins the line in 2025, its fifth chapter.
Montblanc links the name to the Star Legacy, its watch line, and says it sought the same precision of assembly in the fragrance. The house also reads into it the contrast of black and white carried by its emblem of the snow-capped peak.
Gaël Montero signs the composition. The perfumer recounts having drawn inspiration from oud, its place in the history of perfumery and its sacred role in many cultures, and having wanted to give it the leading role in a noble composition.
The eau de parfum comes in a single size, one hundred and twenty-five milliliters, sold in Montblanc stores as well as in selective distribution. The house lists it under the reference MB134857 and places it among the woody ambers.
