Le Parfum is Elie Saab’s first fragrance, launched in 2011 and signed by Francis Kurkdjian. The house presents it as an ode to light: a sunny orange blossom, a jasmine absolute paired with patchouli, and a cedar base wrapped in a rose honey accord. In 2012 it won the award for best women’s fragrance at the French FiFi Awards.
Designed by Sylvie de France, a heavy glass bottle with pared-down baroque forms, named best women’s bottle at the 2012 French FiFi Awards.
Designer Sylvie de France created the bottle. She gave it a baroque style reduced to simple forms, topped with a classic cap, in heavy, solid glass.
The house describes a transparent glass that catches the sun; it is lightly tinted yellow and closed with a faceted cap. The fragrance came out in 30, 50 and 90 ml, alongside a shower gel, a body lotion, a body cream and a perfumed deodorant.
This design earned it, in June 2012, the award for best women’s bottle in selective distribution, given by the professional jury of the Fragrance Foundation France, which honored the juice and its campaign the same year.
