Nuit Noor

It was in 2011 that the couture house Elie Saab created its very first perfume. This one was perfectly anchored in the brand's universe, possessing the same innate sense of cut and the art of magnifying women found in its fashion designs.

Meeting with immense success, this fragrance was followed by several flankers. Once again, Elie Saab delivers a new gift halfway between the East and the West. Its new fragrance is called Nuit Noor and stands as the house's seventh fragrance.

Elie Saab emphasizes the multicultural aspect of its brand

Elie Saab is a great couturier who was born in Beirut and who has always managed to preserve his cultural heritage while enriching it with more Western touches. It is precisely this duality that is found in the perfume Elie Saab Nuit Noor. It thus underlines the indissoluble link between the Middle East and Europe. As its name suggests, the emphasis is placed on the darkness of the night contrasted by the radiance of the city lights. Nuit Noor is thus a fragrance combining opposites, as if to better magnify them. The picture illustrated by this perfume corresponds to the magical image of Beirut coming back to life as night falls on the city. The name of this perfume comes from the Arabic language. Noor is a term used to symbolize power and sensuality, roundness and richness. Elie Saab thus describes the perfume as a fragrance similar to a bright flower in the embrace of the night, paired with a sparkling halo of city lights. It is, he says, a fragrant journey to Beirut, birthplace of Elie Saab Couture.

The oriental accord of Pure Aphrodisiac

Once again, Elie Saab called on perfumer Francis Kurkdjian to create the perfume Nuit Noor. This nose was already the one behind the creation of the house's first perfume. He chose here to convey an almost magical picture woven from complementary notes. Pure Aphrodisiac symbolizes the carnal pleasure of skin through a union of white flowers and syrupy honey. Jasmine and orange blossom help illuminate the whole while honey makes it particularly smooth. Rose, for its part, embodies absolute femininity and the glamorous romanticism of the house of Elie Saab. It is paired with a darker facet emanating from patchouli. The sun-kissed aura of this perfume is in turn supported by the presence of ylang-ylang from Madagascar. A spicier wood also permeates this dark night while pepper continues to give this composition dynamic rhythm. Finally, Nuit Noor closes with a cloud of incense leaving a smoky impression behind. As for the bottle, it takes the form of a sensual and generous case, its cube-like rigor cut to fit the shape of the hand. However, unlike its predecessor, it is entirely lacquered in black, adorned only with a few golden accents, a color combination highly evocative of the oriental universe.
