Le Parfum Resort Collection 2017 is by no means the first olfactory attempt from the Elie Saab brand. In fact, its launch into perfumery dates back to 2011. It was at that moment that Elie Saab chose to enhance each of his outfits with a floral concentrate that was both airy and woody. Achieving immense success, this first fragrance was followed, as early as 2012, by a lighter version in an Eau de Toilette. The Eau de Parfum Intense appeared a year later, in 2013, seeming to capture the intensity of a sunset and revealing feminine beauty through warmer accents than ever. The Eau Couture, in turn, was brightened with Calabria bergamot and magnolia while playing on a sillage based on slightly vanilla-tinged green almond. It was then in 2015 that the first Parfum Resort Collection appeared. It came across as the fruitiest version from the house, notably containing fig in its top notes, followed by a floral bouquet more sun-kissed than ever. In 2016, Elie Saab proved more creative than ever, releasing a Rose Couture edition and Nuit Noor in succession. But now, let us look at the very latest, Le Parfum Resort Collection 2017.

Le Parfum Resort Collection 2017 comes in a bottle that is reminiscent of its predecessors. A true glass prism playing with light, it now comes in absolutely feminine coral red tones. Its scent, meanwhile, is the work of the talented Francis Kurkdjian. A renowned perfumer celebrated the world over, he is behind the entire olfactory range of Elie Saab. The house seems to swear by this creator alone, as his sophistication and boldness stand out exceptionally. Here, he chose to craft his fragrance as a concentrate of sunshine and good spirits. Le Parfum Resort Collection 2017 smells of sea and sun. It opens with a fruity, tangy pairing of red mandarin and frangipani. Its heart rests on a trio of pomegranate, orange blossom and sambac jasmine. Finally, Le Parfum Resort Collection 2017 closes with a bolder, wildly sensual sillage emanating from patchouli.
