Launched in spring 2016, Eau des Sens is the eau de toilette Diptyque devotes to every facet of the bitter orange tree, branch, leaf, flower and fruit. Olivier Pescheux tempers the orange blossom with bitter orange, juniper berry, angelica root and patchouli, for a lively, spicy freshness.
Diptyque’s eau de toilette bottle, refillable in boutiques, whose label combines a botanical drawing with a motif inspired by Op art.
Eau des Sens comes in Diptyque’s eau de toilette bottle, in 50 or 100 ml. The illustration on the back of the label draws on optical art, or Op art, born in the 1960s, the decade in which the house was founded.
According to the presentation carried by the Nose boutique, the design overlays a botanical drawing with an Op art motif, a play of contrasts and geometric constructions that unsettles perception, just as the fragrance aims to unsettle the senses. The bottle can be refilled in certain Diptyque boutiques.
