Light Blue Eau de Parfum is the eau de parfum version that Dolce & Gabbana added in 2026 to Light Blue, its women's fragrance launched in 2001. Signed by Olivier Cresp, this woody floral pairs Sicilian lemon with frangipani, over a base of amber woods and benzoin.
Sicilian lemon and bergamot
The top pairs Sicilian lemon, which the house says is grown by the sea, with Calabrian bergamot and a touch of pink pepper. The ingredients declared by the house include lemon and bergamot essential oils.
A creamy frangipani
The heart rests on frangipani, which Dolce & Gabbana describes as creamy and sun-kissed. Marigold and cinnamon bark surround it; cinnamon bark oil also appears among the declared ingredients.
Amber woods and benzoin
The base brings together amber woods and benzoin, a balsamic resin. The house presents this base as sensual and long-lasting.
What sets it apart from the eau de toilette
The Light Blue eau de toilette brings together Sicilian lemon, Granny Smith apple and cedar. The eau de parfum version keeps the lemon, drops the apple, gives the heart to frangipani and replaces the cedar with amber woods and benzoin.
What the label declares
The label lists tetramethyl acetyloctahydronaphthalene at the top of the odorant substances, known as Iso E Super, an amber wood that corresponds to the announced base. It also declares two musks, galaxolide and hexadecanolide, as well as vanillin: none of these materials appear among the notes.
The bergamot and lemon essences and the cinnamon bark oil confirm three announced notes; the rose ketones, fruity and rosy, add a floral facet that the house does not name. Two UV filters protect the juice, which two yellow colorants tint gold.
