Coco Mademoiselle Eau de Toilette is the fresh, fruity version of the fragrance, composed by Jacques Polge for Chanel in 2002, one year after the eau de parfum. The house describes it as a feminine, sensual, airy amber: Sicilian grapefruit opens onto a heart of rose and jasmine punctuated with lychee, resting on soft base notes.
A rectangular glass column, tinted by the amber fragrance and topped with a pearly white cap; 50 or 100 ml spray, or refillable.
The eau de toilette comes in an abstract bottle, a rectangle of transparent glass rising straight up, vertically. The amber liquid delicately tints the column, and the cap with its pearly white sheen lends it the softness the house highlighted at the launch.
Chanel sells the eau de toilette as a 50 ml or 100 ml spray. The house also offers a 50 ml refillable spray, which it intends for travel, and a 50 ml refill designed for that spray alone, with which it is to be used exclusively.
Chanel declares a container and an outer box that are mostly recyclable. The house classifies the bottle as glass packaging, to be sorted with other household glass containers.
