Unveiled in New York in March 2007, CK IN2U Her is the women’s version of Calvin Klein’s first duo, designed for a generation that courts by text message. Loc Dong and Carlos Benaïm composed it: pink grapefruit, bergamot, and redcurrant leaves, sugared orchid and white cactus, over a base of amber, vanilla, and red cedar. Stephen Burks designed its glass and white plastic bottle.

New York designer Stephen Burks, of the Readymade Projects studio, designed the bottle for the duo. A thick glass base, shaped like a spirits bottle, disappears partly under a sleeve of injection-molded white plastic, with the logo cut out of it.
Milky white plastic and clear glass: these are the materials of the iPod, the New York Times noted in 2007. On the women’s side, the sleeve reveals a pale gold juice, whereas the men’s version shows a steel blue-gray juice.
A few weeks after the launch, in May 2007, Stephen Burks claimed the fragrance was already number one in Europe and that the factory was gearing up to produce one million bottles a month.
