Where to buy
Building on his success, Calvin Klein extended his talent to other fields such as watchmaking, leather goods, and home linens. For him, fragrance is inseparable from fashion, and it was therefore only natural that he ventured into perfumery as early as 1981. After a few olfactory successes, Calvin Klein unveiled Escape in 1991. This aquatic floral is designed to create a lasting impression, an impression one never forgets...
The precise moment of Escape
Calvin Klein sought to capture a scent for all the women of the world, a precise moment. Escape is meant to be a fragrance of escape. However, not all women escape in the same way, so a composition was needed that could express every way of escaping. Embodying the perfect escape is the role of Escape, which evokes an adventure toward an unknown world, an adventure of one's own choosing. This is why, for some women, Escape will be synonymous with escape, while for others, Escape will be synonymous with solitary reflection. Either way, Escape represents, for all women, the present moment, and helps them live it fully. Every emotion is found at the heart of Escape. With it, one glows naturally...
The dynamism of Escape's notes
Escape is defined as a fruity and floral fragrance with an oceanic touch. This touch perfectly represents the dynamism with which each woman lives her escape. Escape opens on the soft notes of blue chamomile. This is paired with lychee and apple, giving the composition an original fresh-fruity accord. The heart is also fruity, with the presence of peach, combined with beautiful floral fragrances such as jasmine, lily of the valley, and rose. The base is warmer and more sensual, with sandalwood, vetiver, vanilla, and white musks. Understated, the bottle is dressed in clear glass topped with a silver-toned metal cabochon that adds an extra touch of femininity. Signed by Pierre Dinand, the bottle is directly inspired by a nineteenth-century travel flask belonging to Kelly Klein's collection. Everything here has been designed for traveling close to home, far away, to the other end of the world, or simply within oneself.
Escape is one of Calvin Klein's earliest fragrances, released a few years after the success of Obsession. Escape speaks to all women and accompanies them on a singular yet deeply personal escapade. Escape is, like every woman, different and unique. This is why Escape was designed to match every need for escape. These floral and fruity notes are dynamic and modern. An original composition that invites travel, one's own journey...
