For this first fragrance, Boucheron wanted a truly feminine composition with an unprecedented structure. To achieve this, it called upon Francis Déléamont and Jean-Pierre Béthouart. Francis Déléamont is a perfumer known primarily for his work with the Boucheron house. While the fashion of the 1980s favored opulent, even powerful compositions, Francis Déléamont decided to create a countercurrent trend. For him, forging an alliance between perfumery and haute joaillerie had to be done in an ultra-feminine and delicate way. Jean-Pierre Béthouart worked for Firmenich from 1981 to 1987, before joining Givaudan in 1988. He collaborated with the Boucheron house, but also with many other perfumers such as Daniel Hechter, Versace and Givenchy.
