Bois d’Argent is the shared eau de parfum that Annick Ménardo composed in 2004 for Dior, under the artistic direction of Hedi Slimane, alongside Eau Noire and Cologne Blanche. A floral woody for the house: an accord of wood pierced with powdery iris and studded with incense, which Wikiparfum rounds out with myrrh, honey, patchouli, and leather. A pillar of La Collection Privée, in 50, 100, and 200 ml.

Dior describes the bottles of La Collection Privée by their pure, clean lines, of a restrained elegance. Bois d’Argent is sold in 50, 100, and 200 ml; Auparfum noted in 2016 sizes of 125 and 250 ml, when the collection had its pop-up shop on Rue Saint-Honoré.
The house builds around the bottle couture caps echoing its motifs, houndstooth, Dior Oblique, cannage, toile de Jouy, Mitzah, map of Paris, embroidered trunks and bottle cases, a refillable travel bottle, in black or silver. The boxing is done by hand, with the label applied by the workshop’s seamstresses.
A trial sample accompanies the order, to discover the fragrance before opening the bottle, which Dior will take back if it remains sealed. Engraving is offered on all three sizes.
