It all began with the creation of Black XS in 2005. It was then a fragrance designed for men, endowed with a strong rebellious and extravagant personality. Then, the story continued two years later, in 2007, with the creation of its feminine alter ego. In exactly the same register, Black XS For Her captivates us with its fiery temperament and its breath, by turns fruity, woody or floral. Containing a whole range of unexpected ingredients, Black XS For Her does nothing like the others. This is also noticeable in the visual of its bottle, whose silhouette has evolved slightly over time.
The first bottle of Black XS For Her
Nowadays, the bottle in which the Black XS For Her perfume is presented is no longer the same as before. Initially, this fragrance was delivered to us in a bottle with voluptuous curves, to which it was almost impossible to assign an age. Its bottle was tinged with a purplish pink forming a dark and bewitching gradient. Its shape, meanwhile, was inspired by a vial of old. Thus, Black XS For Her seemed to possess within it almost magical and unreal powers. It appeared in the eyes of every woman as a secret elixir holding a power. In the manner of an apothecary's vial, it was topped with a small rounded and faceted cap, entirely covered in an opaque black lacquer. To this was added a motif sculpted in relief in its glass walls. More specifically, it was a rose. Here, with it, Paco Rabanne chose to echo the central ingredient of this fragrance: hellebore rose, black in color and releasing its scent only in wintertime. A silver typography also ran across the whole and spelled out its name, while being covered in petals, branches and thorns, as if to illustrate the rock 'n' roll and rebellious side of the woman wearing this perfume.
Paco Rabanne's new bottle
Nowadays, Black XS For Her is no longer presented in this original bottle. It is delivered to us in a new vial whose shape remains more or less similar to that of its predecessor, except that its glass base is now thicker. As for color, its gradient has evolved slightly. The narcotic pink leans less toward fuchsia and more toward red. It also unfolds in a linear gradient, running from absolute transparency at its base to a fully opaque black at its top, passing through pink at its center. The flower sculpted in relief has also disappeared. The name Black XS still appears in silvery lettering, as if to recall that of its predecessor. Black XS For Her by Paco Rabanne is available in three different sizes: 30, 50 and 80 ml.
