Allure, the definition of elegance according to Gabrielle Chanel
If the Chanel brand exists, it is above all thanks to the boldness of one woman: Gabrielle Chanel. Coco was one of the most remarkable figures of the last century, credited with having revolutionized the image of fashion while also greatly contributing to women's emancipation. Allure is, in a sense, her own definition of elegance. This fragrance combines charisma and authenticity. It upholds the image of a silhouette free of artifice, asserting its style well beyond trends and fashions. Allure has nothing fleeting about it. It is a natural, innate elegance, expressed rather in a personality, a way of walking, a demeanor, or a way of wearing a garment. Allure resonates as self-evident. Today, this self-evidence becomes a fragrance.
A very refined and elegant juice
Like all of Chanel's creations, the women's fragrance Allure is meant to be very chic and polished. In turn, it reveals six olfactory facets. Fresh and sophisticated, it therefore does not follow the traditional archetype of perfumery, beginning with top notes, before developing into the heart and ending with base notes. At first, it relies on a biting, fleeting freshness. Then, it becomes fruitier, thanks to Sicilian mandarin. This is followed by Egyptian jasmine for a timeless floral breath, quickly relayed by a blend of magnolia, honeysuckle and water lily, for another floral rendering. Its sillage, meanwhile, is woody. Composed of vetiver, it is paired with a more oriental facet, emanating from Bourbon vanilla. Thus, with Allure by Chanel, every facet of femininity is explored.
The Chanel style summed up in one bottle
Finally, in keeping with the fragrance it contains, the bottle of Allure perfectly reflects the aesthetic and style of the Chanel brand. Rectangular in shape, it is clean-lined and understated, yet never lacking in class. Going straight to the essential, it relies on heavy glass, a mark of refinement. The whole allows a glimpse of a champagne-colored, slightly amber juice. This glass structure is topped with a cylindrical cap in a golden bronze shade, while the Chanel name is inscribed on a golden ring with elegance and restraint.
