An oriental and woody essence created by Christophe Raynaud
Christophe Raynaud is the perfumer who created 1 Million in 2008, alongside Olivier Pescheux and Michel Girard. Paco Rabanne called on Christophe Raynaud once again to create 1 Million Privé, but this time he was working alone. He was not born in Grasse, but he managed to enter the highly selective Versailles perfumery school, ISIPCA. Christophe Raynaud is a passionate and compelling perfumer. He loves to innovate and, above all, to work with beautiful raw materials. He claims that a fragrance must captivate everyone within the first 30 seconds. Here, Christophe Raynaud decided to create a gold ingot that literally snaps between the fingers, an ingot that leaves a leathery, spicy and above all terribly insolent sillage.
1 Million Privé… seduction between the notes
1 Million Privé opens with fruity notes of mandarin and blood orange. These sweet tonalities are joined by spicier notes of cinnamon, forming a bold pairing. The heart note continues with wafts of hookah, tobacco and myrrh resin, giving the whole a distinctly masculine tonality. Intense and sweet, the base notes leave an ultra-sensual sillage thanks to patchouli, tonka bean and vanilla. As Paco Rabanne states, 1 Million Privé is the olfactory transcription of an intense and precious gold bar. The bottle is of course worthy of the composition and takes the form of a gold ingot. Entirely covered in a metal casing, the 1 Million Privé bottle displays its name with a Far West look that proudly asserts its identity.
