Zadig L'Intense

Zadig & Voltaire classes Zadig L’Intense among floral woody fragrances and also speaks of a woody floriental. An accord of black and golden sesame, brightened by ginger, draws its opening; orange blossom absolute fills its heart, above a gourmand base of vanilla.

Top, heart and base

At the top, the sesame duo joins ginger and incense. The heart pairs orange blossom with a vinyl accord, which the house also describes as subtle leather notes; in the base, vanilla is enriched with creamy sandalwood and guaiac wood.

The notes are arranged here as follows: sesame, ginger and incense at the top; orange blossom and leather in the heart; vanilla, sandalwood and guaiac wood in the base.

What the label declares

After alcohol, fragrance and water, a synthetic ambery wood and vanillin open the list, ahead of linalool. Its first half also brings together a woody molecule with sandalwood accents, bitter orange peel oil and Virginia cedar oil.

Orange blossom, bergamot and lemon oils come further down, with sandalwood oil and santalol. A UV filter and a stabilizer protect the liquid; three colorants, red, yellow and violet, give it its tint.
