Mauboussin launched Pour Femme in 2000. It is the first fragrance of the rue de la Paix jeweler, composed by Christine Nagel, and the house still calls it the very embodiment of luxury, an invitation to an olfactory journey where sensuality and refinement mingle.

Fragrance as a jewel

Mauboussin Parfums presents Pour Femme as a bewitching fragrance with oriental and fruity scents, which dresses women in an aura of precious stones and extends the magic of the house’s jewelry. The formula is made in France and, the brand says, vegan.

Angela, of Now Smell This, recalls that Luca Turin gives it four stars in his guide and places it between the first Kenzo Jungle and Fendi’s Theorema, another oriental by Christine Nagel.

What the house says

The fruity top notes bring, according to the house, a dynamic freshness leading to a bewitching heart of jasmine, while the ambergris base leaves a sensual trace: a harmonious blend of fruity, floral, and ambery notes that celebrates beauty and femininity.

Powerful and voluptuous, Pour Femme is meant, Mauboussin says, for women looking for an elegant and sensual fragrance. The eau de parfum is sold in 100 ml.
