Twilly d'Hermès Eau Ginger

Three and a half years after its launch, and 18 months after the birth of Twilly d’Hermès Eau Poivrée, a newcomer once again enriches the collection. This time, it is called Twilly Eau Ginger and pays tribute to contemporary youth.

Twilly Eau Ginger owes its existence to Christine Nagel, director of creation and olfactory heritage at Hermès Parfums since January 1, 2016. To design this fragrance, the creator drew inspiration from ginger. However, this raw material is entirely reinvented here, pushing past the limits usually associated with it. Ginger becomes more supple. It takes on a more pronounced, floral femininity. Cheerful and bright, it brings out all its delicacy and becomes more subtle. Candied, it lends this fragrance an extreme roundness, while being accompanied by a generous, vibrant peony. To this is added a lively yet supple cedar at the base, structuring the whole composition and giving it excellent longevity.

As for the bottle, Twilly Eau Ginger comes in a flask that beautifully recalls the emblematic lantern of the house Hermès. An icon of the house, this slender glass column is this time lowered to form a square. Its black cap has disappeared in favor of a white cap, a sober backdrop to let its new sun-kissed yellow color burst forth. A small colored silk ribbon is also attached at the neck. The visual of Twilly Eau Ginger alone expresses the touch of madness of today's young women!
