Symphony

The citrus family, with its zesty freshness, orients Symphony: grapefruit, bergamot and orange form its heart tier, heightened by ginger. Created in 2021 for Louis Vuitton by Jacques Cavallier, the accord combines fruity, sweet and tangy facets with a touch of spicy warmth.

Heart tier

The heart tier brings together grapefruit, bergamot, ginger and orange. Grapefruit provides a fruity citrus freshness. Bergamot combines fruit, sweetness and freshness. Orange plays on sweetness and acidity. Ginger adds a spicy, warm note, with a zesty hint.

Citrus family

The citrus family generally refers to fragrances built on citrus fruits, with a fresh, zesty brightness. In Symphony, grapefruit, bergamot and orange carry this character. Through its citrus facet, ginger extends this freshness while giving it a spicy tonality.

What the label declares

The label declares limonene, a major constituent of citrus essences, as well as linalool and linalyl acetate, found notably in bergamot. It also contains citral, with a lemony odor, and pinene, with resinous accents. Lemon peel oil also appears on the list. These components echo the citrus fruits of the accord.
