The three Eaux de Sisley did indeed surprise their audience in more than one way. First of all, the cosmetics and perfume house had accustomed us to novelties so sporadic that having three fragrances at once already seems incongruous. Then, the house of Sisley has always offered assertive perfumes, and with the Eaux we might have thought, wrongly, that the Cologne would lack personality. That would be to overlook the obvious fact that Eau de Campagne or Eau du Soir had already surprised us with the strength of their sillage.

It is therefore unnecessary to point out that Eau de Sisley 2 is nothing like a limpid water or an ordinary Cologne. Crafted by the house of Sisley around an original green note and accords of precious raw materials (iris, jasmine…), Eau de Sisley 2 displays a serene yet decidedly present character.
Like every bottle in the Eaux de Sisley collection, Eau de Sisley 2 will be represented by a visual painted like a watercolor where greens and blues merge into an impressionist depiction of lush nature “with its feet in the water.”

Still topped with the botanical sculpture created by Sisley's favorite artist Bronislaw Krzysztof, Eau de Sisley 2, like its two sisters, does not seek to shine through the complexity of its bottle but rather aims to offer an elegant sobriety, as is the case for most Sisley perfumes.
Eau de Sisley 2 opens on a very green departure meant to evoke sap, bringing accords of bergamot, cardamom and basil. Then the heart of this gentle, very natural dreamer unfolds into an opulent bouquet of precious flowers composed, to our great delight, of Egyptian jasmine, water iris, cyclamen and rose. Finally, the beautiful Eau de Sisley 2 settles into sensual and deeply feminine depths typical of the Sisley chypre, built around sandalwood, patchouli, vetiver and cedar.
