Ôver The Top

Ôver The Top: the green water that crosses the finish line first A shot of adrenaline for Le Monde des Ô After celebrating citrus freshness in 1969, Lancôme reinvents its iconic saga with the 2025 triptych Le Monde des Ô. Placed between the relaxation of Ôff Now and the optimism of Ô Zenith, Ôver The Top embodies a rush of green energy: a fragrance that crosses the line, breathes deeply and makes the heart beat faster according to the house.

Bottle: the emerald pebble at full speed The Ô DNA reinvented in turbo mode Since 1969, Lancôme's Ô line has been recognized by its pebble bottle, evoking a drop of water sculpted by time. For Ôver The Top, the design teams kept this iconic silhouette while charging it with new dynamism: the body rises one millimeter, the side curve deepens slightly and the neck narrows, giving the bottle a more streamlined, almost aerodynamic profile. Seen from the front, the base remains stable and rounded; seen from the side, it looks ready to launch like a sprinter off the starting blocks.

Color palette: a turbo chlorophyll gradient

The high point of this evolution: the glass takes on an emerald gradient evoking fresh sap. The shade saturates at the base, recalling tomato leaves just crushed between fingers; it lightens as it rises, becoming translucent three-quarters of the way up, symbolizing the breath of air that feeds the jasmine heart. Under direct light, the color casts dancing green shadows on the walls, plunging the whole room into a tropical greenhouse atmosphere.

Materials & eco-design

Lightweight recycled glass

Lancôme continues its environmental commitment: the bottle incorporates 20% post-consumer recycled glass, reducing melting energy by 15%. The glass thickness has been carefully recalculated; a denser core at the center of the base lowers the center of gravity without adding weight overall, so that 14 g are saved compared to the previous generation while keeping the premium feel in hand.

Soft-touch cap & silver ring

The white soft-touch cap recalls the handlebar of a racing bike: it ensures a solid grip even with damp fingers after a shower. Beneath this dome, a silver ring engraved with “Ô” marks the transition between glass and plastic, also serving as a tactile landmark to locate the spray without looking.

Unscrewable pump & drop-in refill

Like the rest of the triptych, Ôver The Top features an unscrewable pump. Two turns are enough to release the neck and insert a 100 ml refill, sold separately in a soft single-material pouch. Result: −50% virgin plastic across two refill cycles.

Ergonomics & sensory experience

The energizing-pebble grip

The soft curves and absence of sharp edges encourage a fluid gesture; the bottle turns in the palm like a river pebble ready to skip. The new side facet provides a natural grip that reassures when unscrewing the pump or setting the bottle on damp tile.

Reflections and light play

Placed near a window, the object acts as a green filter: rays pass through the juice and fragment into vibrant emerald flecks, turning the desk into a mini greenhouse. Under a neon light, the silver ring catches the reflections and flickers like a digital speedometer, echoing the fragrance's sport-performance dimension.

Featherweight, maximum stability

Thanks to its glass core concentrated at the base, the bottle remains stable up to a 12° angle, practical for narrow gym shelves. The lightened body avoids wrist fatigue when spraying several times before a workout, a gesture repeated more often than with a classic urban fragrance.

Eco-responsible secondary packaging

The outer carton adopts a ribbed texture evoking the lanes of an athletics track. Printed with water-based anise-green inks, it carries no plastic film. Inside, a molded cellulose cradle replaces the traditional PET packing, cutting the pack's total weight by 45%.
