Nomade Eau de Parfum Naturelle, a breath of freedom! The Chloé brand owes its existence to a committed woman: Gaby Aghion. While she embodies feminine beauty and gentleness, she is also a symbol of advocacy, never hesitating to fight body and soul for the environment.
The house of Chloé is a symbol of femininity and poetry that first made its name creating fashion collections. Then, in 2008, the house decided to accompany its clothing with fragrances. This became a reality with a first feminine fragrance bearing the name Chloé. Ten years after its release, in 2018, Chloé also gave birth to another sun-kissed fragrance, synonymous with travel and escape: Nomade. Today, it has been entirely reimagined and offers a new breath, made exclusively from ingredients of natural origin.
Chloé's ethical and eco-responsible approach
To better understand the composition of this fragrance, one must first grasp the ambitions of Chloé and of the brand's creator, Gaby Aghion. For several years now, she has been committed to protecting the environment. As part of an eco-responsible approach, the house of Chloé now holds B-Corp certification. This is precisely why it is gradually restructuring its entire range of fragrances. Its bestsellers are thus being fully transformed to replace their synthetic raw materials with ingredients of natural origin. However, this is a particularly significant constraint for perfumers. Indeed, many scents found in nature cannot be distilled. These are reproduced in the laboratory. Opting for 100% natural therefore considerably narrows the field of possibilities. Yet, with Chloé's Nomade Eau de Parfum Naturelle, Caroline Dumur manages to rise to the challenge!
The olfactory pyramid of Nomade Eau de Parfum Naturelle, a sun-kissed and warm recipe
Nomade Eau de Parfum Naturelle opens with an immense sense of freshness. Here, Caroline Dumur chose to incorporate bergamot essence into her composition. This fruit, derived from the bitter orange tree and the lemon tree, immediately evokes the Mediterranean basin. However, while this fruit is very refreshing, it is no less sun-kissed. It appears then as a breeze floating over the desert dunes.
At its heart, Nomade Eau de Parfum Naturelle contains one of the most famous flowers in feminine perfumery: jasmine. Here, its variety comes from Egypt, giving it very sensual and generous connotations. Both fruity and sun-kissed, the jasmine absolute used in this fragrance comes from two local suppliers. Once again, to honor Chloé's approach, these suppliers commit to adhering to very strict environmental preservation criteria. Little by little, the luminous opulence of jasmine fades in favor of a softer, more enveloping base. Nomade Eau de Parfum Naturelle ends with a cloud of gourmand character, made of vanilla and dates. These ingredients are both exotic and immediately mouthwatering. Sandalwood, meanwhile, adds more persistence to this fragrance, while making it wonderfully creamy.
