Neroli Letters is an eau de parfum from the Montblanc Collection, unveiled in January 2026 and composed by Bruno Jovanovic. The sixth chapter of the collection, it draws on travel notebooks written in the Mediterranean: bergamot and Florida orange at the top, neroli absolute at the heart, patchouli and Ambrox at the base. The house classes it among the citrus aromatic woody scents.
Persolaise finds Neroli Letters delightful at the top and the heart, a green, metallic and very summery neroli, and does not fault its base for coming down to pale woods.
What critics say
Persolaise, Substack, May 2026
Persolaise notes that Neroli Letters, like many compositions in the spirit of an eau de Cologne, keeps hardly anything but pale woods in its base. He does not see this as a flaw: for him, everything plays out at the top and the heart.
He finds it a pure pleasure, neroli shown in all its facets, citrusy, leafy, green, metallic and very summery. The house speaks of the Mediterranean; he says he pictures instead the lush, dew-covered setting of a Bollywood dance.
