Miutine is an Eau de Parfum by Miu Miu composed by Dominique Ropion and launched in 2025, the house's first fragrance since its beauty license moved to L'Oréal. The juice takes up the architecture of the chypre — citrus, floral heart, oakmoss and patchouli — and diverts it with a Mara des Bois wild strawberry and a brown sugar accord.
Strawberry at the top
The opening rests on a wild strawberry of the French Mara des Bois variety. The house presents it as a vivid, spontaneous note, worked into a juicy nectar, and Ropion sees in it the joyful, slightly regressive element of the composition.
A heart of gardenia and jasmine
The heart is built around a gardenia accord, described as luminous, to which a touch of jasmine lends volume. This is the floral part of the chypre, entrusted to a milky white flower rather than the rose of the classic chypre.
Brown sugar and vanilla at the base
The base combines a brown sugar accord and a bourbon vanilla, which the house calls melting, with the patchouli and oakmoss inherited from the chypre. This is where the tension of the fragrance plays out: the gourmand quality on one side, the earth and wood on the other.
What is left out
The house does not detail the citrus it places at the opening of its chypre: no variety is named. They are not listed among the notes, nor are the rose and amber sometimes attributed to the fragrance, which do not appear in the house's official listing.
