L’Eau de Muguet is an eau de parfum from Miu Miu, the house’s first feminine fragrance, launched in 2015 under the name Miu Miu and composed by Daniela Andrier. A green, musky floral, it pairs a transparent lily of the valley accord with Damask rose and akigalawood, a woody, peppery material derived from patchouli.
An azure blue opaque glass bottle echoing the quilted leather of Miu Miu handbags, closed with a translucent ruby red sequin-shaped stopper.
The house says the bottle is inspired by the quilted leather handbags that define its identity. The brand’s azure blue tints the opaque glass, contrasting with the translucent ruby red of the sequin-shaped stopper and with the collar’s black and white ring, stamped with the Miu Miu name.
At its launch in 2015, Beauty Packaging saw a 1960s air in it: a faceted, geometric bottle with a mod-looking red cap. Journal du Luxe notes that the house’s later perfumes took up this design, from the sequin-style stopper to the quilted glass.
