The house describes an opening of sparkling bergamot, carried by its essential oil. The heart is an opulent accord of flower nectar, where neroli essential oil, orange blossom absolute and rose absolute intertwine.

Tonka, amber and patchouli

The base brings together a creamy tonka absolute and amber accords, deepened by the earthy depth of patchouli essence. According to the Moodie Davitt Report, ambroxan, cashmeran and sandalwood add depth and an enveloping trail.

What is left out

The orange cited by Now Smell This does not appear in the house’s description. Ambroxan, cashmeran and sandalwood, absent from the retail pages, also stay outside the declared tiers; the ingredient list, however, names a Virginia cedar oil.

What the label declares

The ingredient list names six essential oils: bergamot, patchouli, Virginia cedar, bitter orange peel, bitter orange blossom and rose. It also includes synthetic molecules, among them Iso E Super, a woody molecule, vanillin, coumarin and rose ketones.

It contains two UV filters, ethylhexyl salicylate and butyl methoxydibenzoylmethane, a stabilizer and three colorants, red, yellow and violet. It also declares allergens: limonene, linalool, citral, geraniol, citronellol, hydroxycitronellal, hexyl cinnamal, farnesol, benzyl benzoate and benzyl salicylate, and coumarin.
