Annick Goutal

Voile de Santal

Voile de Santal is a unisex eau de parfum that Annick Goutal launches in 2026, composed by Romain Almairac. The house places it among the woody fruity musks: fig milk, blackcurrant and neroli at the opening, sandalwood, cedar and moss in the central tier, an oud accord, powdery musks and Ambroxan at the base, around a creamy, powdery sandalwood.

Where to buy

Annick Goutal launches Voile de Santal in 2026, at the same time as Vanille des Roches. The house, now under Interparfums and once again bearing its founder’s first name, presents the new release as a unisex eau de parfum, sold in a 100 ml bottle.

A forest at dusk

The house’s story starts at the end of the day: golden light fading through the trees, the calm of the forest, a nostalgic silence. Voile de Santal seeks to capture that suspended moment, the warm light on the trunks and the gentle tenderness of the moments that herald nightfall.

In French, the house shifts the hour and speaks of a dawning morning bathed in soft light, the murmur of a forest waking up. The fragrance becomes, in its words, a luminous veil, a woody, peaceful and elegant breath.

Romain Almairac

The composition is the work of Romain Almairac, while Vanille des Roches, launched alongside it, bears the signature of Coralie Spicher. Founded in 1981, the house claims an auteur perfumery, each fragrance starting from a memory or an emotion.
