Red
Red is the fruity fougère of Lacoste, released in 2004 on an accord of green apple and pine the brand has never parted with. Interparfums keeps it in the catalog today, in 75 and 125 milliliters, in a bottle with an engraved crocodile. Patchouli and vetiver give the woody part of a fragrance the house addresses to active men.

Where to buy
Lacoste has been dressing tennis players since 1933 and selling fragrance since the eighties. Red arrives in 2004, at a time when the license still belonged to Procter & Gamble, and remains one of the rare references of that generation to have survived the changes of hands.
A name that has varied a great deal
The fragrance long circulated under the label Style in Play, taken from the launch slogan, which earns it two separate entries in most databases. The brand itself now keeps only Red.
The return through Interparfums
Interparfums has held the license for Lacoste fragrances since 2024 and has put Red back in the catalog, in 75 and 125 milliliters, with the manufacturer mention of its Paris head office on every package. The official store files it among its new arrivals.
The attribution that circulates
The 2004 creation is attributed everywhere to Annick Ménardo, without Lacoste or its licensee ever having written it. The perfumer field therefore stays empty here, for want of a first-hand source.
