Composition

Peppered citrus top

The opening brings together fresh, tart citrus, a soft and lively tangerine, an orange that is both sweet and fresh, and a tangy lemon. Ginger adds warm spices tinted with citrus, while pepper contributes a spicy dryness with herbaceous accents.

Marine and floral heart

In the central tier, a marine note evokes the sea, iodine and seaweed. Tiare flower slips in a facet close to jasmine, while mimosa lends a powdery, honeyed sweetness. Pine, resinous and woody, recalls the scent of vacations; vetiver anchors the whole in earth and smoke.

Salty base

Sea salt extends the marine tonalities with its salty character, laden with sea spray. Musk adds a woody warmth with an animalic nuance, and ambergris completes this base with accents of wood and camphor and a discreet animalic note.

Fougère and sea spray

Belonging to the fougères, a family traditionally built on a contrast of aromatics, freshness and a woody base, French Riviera finds its support here in pine, vetiver and the top spices. The marine facet rests on the marine note of the heart and on sea salt, with its iodine evocations.

What the label declares

The list declares limonene and oils from bitter orange and lemon peel, echoes of the top citrus, as well as pinene, a constituent of pine resins. Lavender and coumarin, the scent of cut hay, are classic fougère materials; geraniol, citronellol and linalool relate to the floral notes.
