World

Kenzo World is the women’s eau de parfum launched by Kenzo at the end of August 2016, the first fragrance by Carol Lim and Humberto Leon, the house’s creative directors. Francis Kurkdjian pairs peony, Egyptian jasmine and Ambroxan in a floral amber. Its eye-shaped bottle takes up a motif from Kenzo’s collections, and its film by Spike Jonze sets Margaret Qualley dancing.

A glass eye designed by Patrick Li, a motif of Kenzo’s collections since 2013, topped with a cap inspired by the house’s Kalifornia bag.

The Kenzo World bottle takes the shape of an eye, a motif Carol Lim and Humberto Leon brought into Kenzo’s collections in Fall-Winter 2013. It was designed by Patrick Li, who offers his own interpretation of it.

Its cap, with a rubbery feel, is inspired by the house’s Kalifornia bag, in the way Kenzo mixes styles in its ready-to-wear. On the top of the box, the name of the fragrance is printed in Braille.

The bottle comes in 30, 50 and 75 ml, three sizes offered from the launch of the eau de parfum at the end of August 2016, and still sold today in France.
