Jules was released in 1980, composed by Jean Martel for Dior, fourteen years after Eau Sauvage. A green, animalic fougère, it borrows its name from the slang term for a boyfriend. The house now brings it back to galbanum from Iran, black pepper from India and cedar from Virginia. Francis Kurkdjian restores it on October 1, 2026.
We use two audience-measurement tools — Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity — to understand how the encyclopedia is read. Clarity records the browsing path (clicks, scrolling, pointer movements) anonymously, with input fields masked. No advertising, no sharing for commercial purposes. You can accept or decline them — you can change your choice at any time. We also count the pages you read with an anonymous, cookie-free measurement hosted on our own server: “Decline” stops it too.
