Boss Bottled Triumph Elixir

The house breaks Triumph Elixir down into three stages, one material each: violet leaf at the top, vetiver essence at the center, patchouli leaf essence at the base. It places it among green ambers; Wikiparfum classes it as ambery, with a citrus nuance.

What the house declares

The violet leaf opening is described as bold and fresh. Vetiver gives the center its woody note, and patchouli leaves an earthy imprint at the base. The house says it backs this freshness with the base of the 2023 elixir.

What the label declares

The ingredient list opens with denatured alcohol, fragrance, propylene glycol and water. Two ultraviolet filters, ethylhexyl salicylate and butyl methoxydibenzoylmethane, protect the formula from light; two colorants tint the juice, a red, CI 17200, and a blue, CI 42090.

Five allergens are declared: coumarin, hydroxycitronellal, alpha-isomethyl ionone, methyl 2-octynoate and eugenol. An antioxidant and a light stabilizer complete the formula.

What remains outside the declared accord

Methyl 2-octynoate, which perfumers call methyl heptine carbonate, carries the green, cut-leaf smell of violet leaf: the label confirms the announced top. Alpha-isomethyl ionone adds a powdery accent, between violet and iris, about which the house says nothing.

Coumarin, which no stage announces, brings the ambery roundness that justifies the classification. Neither vetiver nor patchouli appears there under its own name: both remain blended into the generic term fragrance.
