Hommage à l'Homme: Lalique celebrated its 20th anniversary in perfumery! In addition to the crystal reissue of the first Lalique perfume, the perfume house reserved a very special surprise for men to celebrate its twenty years of existence: Hommage à l'Homme.
An Art Deco glass bottle designed by Thierry de Baschmakoff, paired with a crystal edition featuring the pipe player by René Lalique.
Two versions accompany the release. The first, in glass, is designed by Thierry de Baschmakoff, of the Aesthete studio, in an Art Deco-inspired style. The second, in crystal, is aimed at collectors.
The crystal bottle features the sculpture of the pipe player created by René Lalique in 1929 for the Orient-Express. Its price is announced at around one thousand euros by one source, and one thousand two hundred euros by another. Lalique gives its size: 100 ml, or 3.3 fl. oz.
A crystal retailer describes this bottle as a 100 ml Extrait de Parfum bearing the engraved inscription “Lalique France”.
