Flower by Kenzo Eau de Lumière

Kenzo is a major house that has always drawn its customers into a poetic and romantic universe. Yet the house seemed to make a small detour in 2016, with the release of the Kenzo World fragrance, staged in an advertisement with a thoroughly wild choreography.

As always, the entire house of Kenzo has not been short of creativity at the start of 2017. Indeed, the house is currently generating much talk for its new advertisement in the form of a Cinemagraph, an innovative technique hybridizing photography and video. This was implemented to present its brand new fragrance named Flower By Kenzo Eau de Lumière. Kenzo thus offers a new vision of its legendary fragrance. So, let us take a closer look to see whether its formula proved as ingenious as its communication campaign.

A duo in collaboration with Kenzo

While some perfumers particularly enjoy working solo, others, by contrast, like to draw on their encounters to further develop their creativity. Such is notably the case of Amandine Marie. A renowned perfumer counted among the most celebrated of our time, she channeled her creativity through exchanges with her peers. Coming from a family of perfumers, she seems to have a truly innate gift for working with raw materials. Here, Amandine Marie worked in collaboration with one of the greatest perfumers on the planet: Alberto Morillas. A highly creative figure, he is drawn to everything related to the artistic realm in general. Moreover, unlike the vast majority of perfumers, he is entirely self-taught. He managed the incredible feat of rising to the very top of his profession without ever attending a perfumery school. Yet this did not prevent him from winning the François Coty Prize for best perfumer in 2003. As can be understood, Flower By Kenzo Eau de Lumière is a fragrance that brings together the best talents in perfumery. After all, nothing less would do to live up to Kenzo's ambitions!

Flower By Kenzo Eau de Lumière, a sun-kissed juice

Flower By Kenzo Eau de Lumière is an infinitely feminine fragrance. Indeed, it brings together on its own every facet of the feminine personality. It is at once playful, resolutely feminine, very elegant and sensual. What is more, each of its ingredients was chosen with deep care. Thus, Flower By Kenzo Eau de Lumière is drawn from the best of nature. Flower By Kenzo Eau de Lumière begins with a particularly fresh and very Mediterranean breath. This juice takes flight on a scent of Calabria bergamot. Then, this citrus with its citrus power gives way to a particularly feminine heart. This is won over by two ingredients among the most celebrated in women's perfumery: rose and jasmine. These bring immense refinement before the whole gradually shifts toward a more sensual breath. Finally, white musk takes over and completes this composition with great delicacy.
