Bali Paradise is the Escada summer edition announced at the end of 2024 and released the following summer, in the series the brand calls Escaping with Escada. Nathalie Lorson and Coralie Spicher built it on three accords, one per tier: dragon fruit, bird of paradise flower, creamy sandalwood. Orange gradient bottle, limited run.
Three accords, one per tier, and nothing else in the official description. Dragon fruit opens: the brand insists on its speckled flesh and its bristling pink skin, and draws from it a juicy, tart, frankly exotic entry.
The bird of paradise flower
Strelitzia occupies the heart, a warm floral accord that perfumery makes little use of. It has no usable smell in its natural state, which makes it a perfumer’s reconstitution rather than an extracted raw material, as with lily of the valley.
A sandalwood base
Sandalwood closes the composition, described as earthy and creamy, and it is what provides the length. The intended contrast holds in two gestures: a bright fruity opening, a milky trail that takes over.
What Wikiparfum adds
The encyclopedia of the Puig house completes the list with a kiwi that the official argument does not name, and does not keep the sandalwood. It classes the fragrance as floral, which overlaps with the fruity floral announced at launch.
What the label declares
Eleven entries, including seven regulated allergens: limonene, benzyl salicylate, linalool, alpha-isomethyl ionone, hydroxycitronellal, geraniol, citral and citronellol. No colorant, no sunscreen, which is surprising for a juice so colored.
