It is precisely to pay tribute to this that the Absolus d'Orient collection came into being. In 2023, it is enriched with a new juice named Épices Exquises.
The Absolus d'Orient bring together several perfumes with unique notes, inviting dreaming and escape. These take us beyond borders and recall the house's deep love for the eastern part of the globe. These juices bring together whiffs of precious balsams, spices and rare woods. This is therefore also everything found in the 2023 perfume Épices Exquises. A reinterpretation of Guerlain's Bee Bottle
First of all, the shape of the bottle of Épices Exquises by Guerlain is probably not entirely unfamiliar. Indeed, it is shared across the entire Absolus d'Orient collection, but not only that. It also draws on one of the house of Guerlain's most prestigious cases, created for the very first time in 1853. In this instance, it is a modern reinterpretation of the Bee Bottle, originally designed for Eau de Cologne Impériale, intended for Empress Eugénie. With this case, Guerlain reaffirms its marks of nobility and immerses us once again in its extraordinary history.
The very warm hue of the bottle of Épices Exquises by Guerlain
For Épices Exquises by Guerlain, the Bee Bottle is entirely covered in a warm lacquer, whose burnished tones are highly evocative. These are all at once the sun-drenched spices scenting oriental markets, and the ochre tones from desert sand. This glass cylinder is fully clad in this shade. In passing, it should be noted that its highly ergonomic shape makes it very pleasant to hold.
The ever-present oriental world on Guerlain's bottle
Naturally, the oriental atmosphere of this juice also resurfaces on every side of this bottle. It is decorated with a round label, itself adorned with multiple golden arabesques. These elements are, in fact, very common in Middle Eastern artistic culture. A small trim ribbon is also knotted at its neck. In reality, it is also a nod to the pattern of the C'est Moi powder, created by Guerlain in the late 1920s. More than ever, with this visual, Guerlain recalls some of the most brilliant chapters of its history. Épices Exquises is an excellent testament to all its expertise.
