Eclat D'Arpège Sheer

Eclat D’Arpège Sheer: The new Eau de Toilette from Lanvin. Driven by a boundless artistic energy, Jeanne Lanvin was a visionary designer who devoted her entire life to renewing fashion and feminine elegance. As ambitious professionally as she was devoted as a mother, she constantly drew inspiration from her personal life to move others.

Arpège was released in 1927 and ranks as one of the most legendary perfumes from the house of Lanvin. A worldwide success, it remains to this day one of the brand's best-known feminine fragrances. In 2002, the house of Lanvin nevertheless decided to modernize it and give rise to its worthy successor: Éclat d'Arpège. Today, history repeats itself once again, and Lanvin's newcomer is named Éclat d'Arpège Sheer, whose release is expected in 2021. Presented as a still very romantic fragrance, it is now a brighter, livelier and more cheerful composition. So, in what bottle does this floral, green and fruity perfume come? Let us decode together the different elements of its bottle.

A silhouette borrowed from its predecessors

Éclat d'Arpège Sheer has a shape well known to fans of the house of Lanvin. Indeed, since the release of the very first Arpège, the ball-shaped bottle has been considered an absolute symbol of the brand. In 1927, it was a black ball, designed by Armand Rateau, the favorite decorator of designer Jeanne Lanvin. He chose the circle above all because it symbolizes softness, generosity and femininity. Moreover, the circle forms an infinite movement, one that never stops, like a passionate and idealized love. And that is precisely what is found in the perfume Éclat d'Arpège Sheer. Furthermore, to accentuate this, two interlinked rings appear on its spray cap, at the neck. Likewise, a mother and her child are drawn in white on its front face. As a little anecdote, this is in fact a depiction of Jeanne Lanvin and her daughter, Marie Blanche.

The new satin pink shade of Éclat d'Arpège Sheer

This time, for Éclat d'Arpège Sheer, Lanvin sets aside its traditional colors and moves toward a new soft, satin pink. As a reminder, the first Arpège was entirely covered in an opaque black lacquer. The previous Éclat d'Arpège, from 2002, had purple glass paired with a few golden details. Today, gold has completely disappeared, in favor of a more contemporary chrome silver with a shimmering finish. To bring a touch of light to this visual, a diamond is set at its top. It also signs all the refinement of the Lanvin brand.

Lanvin's cardboard box, a bubble of sweetness

Finally, in terms of packaging, Éclat d'Arpège Sheer comes in a classic rectangular cardboard box, covered in an iridescent pink shade. Enchanting and very feminine, it reveals its name in a magical purple. Likewise, as if that were not enough to draw us into a dreamlike world, an airy bubble appears on its front face. It is a promise of fullness, serenity and calm.
In terms of size, Éclat d'Arpège Sheer comes in three spray bottles of different sizes. It is available in a 30 ml, 50 ml or 100 ml bottle.
