Eau Sauvage Extrême is a woody flanker of Eau Sauvage, relaunched by Dior in 2010 under the signature of François Demachy. The name had already been used in 1984 for a version now discontinued, which accounts for the conflicting pyramids one encounters. The 2010 version keeps the line's citrus and aromatic opening, but brings the cedar forward and rests the whole on vetiver. It shares no formula link with Sauvage, released in 2015.
