Eau Sauvage Extrême is a woody flanker of Eau Sauvage, relaunched by Dior in 2010 under the signature of François Demachy. The name had already been used in 1984 for a version now discontinued, which explains the contradictory pyramids one encounters. The 2010 version keeps the citrus and aromatic top of the line, but brings the cedar forward and rests the whole on vetiver. There is no formula connection with Sauvage, released in 2015.
