As its name suggests, “Eau de Cartier Goutte de Rose” was imagined around rose, the quintessentially feminine flower. It is the very famous perfumer Mathilde Laurent, Cartier's in-house nose, who created “Eau de Cartier Goutte de Rose”. She did not wish to fully disclose the ingredients contained in “Goutte de Rose”. It is simply known that rose is omnipresent and that it is paired with floral accords. Like “Eau de Cartier”, “Eau de Cartier Goutte de Rose” has a musky base. As for the bottle, it echoes the lines of its predecessor. Understated and made of clear glass, it reveals its pale pink color. It rests on a base firmly anchored to the ground, and a drop of water can be seen. This drop appears to have been trapped in the glass, creating not only a rippling movement of the material as it falls, but above all an unusual originality.

After “Eau de Cartier”, the house Cartier unveiled a variation built around rose, “Eau de Cartier Goutte de Rose”.
