Insouciance Rivières de Cartier

This time, this philosophy gives rise to three new perfumes, gathered in the Rivières de Cartier collection. One of these three compositions is called Rivières Insouciance and is akin to a gentle, sparkling waterfall, flowing in the shade of fruit trees, from flower to flower.

The Rivières de Cartier collection

The Rivières de Cartier appeared in 2021 and offer a true immersion in nature. Each of these three perfumes depicts a different landscape, like a river infused with a particular scent, shaped by every natural element it encounters. We wanted to evoke a fresh new feeling, and the word Rivières came to us as an obvious choice, recounts perfumer Mathilde Laurent, in charge of creating the Rivières de Cartier. It sits at the crossroads of nature and jewelry, since one speaks of rivières of diamonds, and it allowed a connection to be made with perfumery, with the idea of fresh waters. This is how Rivières Insouciance de Cartier was born, at the heart of this particularly spring-like blend, synonymous with liveliness and spontaneity.

Rivières Insouciance de Cartier, an ode to the freshness of nature

Rivières Insouciance de Cartier is a perfume synonymous with freedom and lightness. It seems to depict the image of a river sparkling under the sun's rays and flowing from flower to flower. At first, Rivières Insouciance de Cartier features one of the noblest plants in the perfumer's entire palette: iris. Then, its heart relies on violet. This romantic and elegant blend is paired with a refreshing, sparkling cocktail of fruits. Tart strawberry mingles with pineapple, before evolving toward a base that is more musky and woody. Of this entire collection, Rivières Insouciance is unquestionably the most joyful and childlike creation, like a young river flowing under full sun and taking on the colors of all the wildflowers in the fields. It can also be seen as an iris candy dropped into a sparkling soda.

Rivières Insouciance de Cartier comes in a bottle shared across the whole collection. This one is tinted pink. Then, since respect for nature is a priority, it should be noted that this is a refillable bottle, lighter than its predecessors, so as to reduce its carbon footprint. Rivières Insouciance de Cartier is also presented in an outer cardboard box, whose raw material, wood, comes from sustainably managed forests. As for size, Rivières Insouciance de Cartier exists in only one bottle size, in a 100 ml case.
